How We Make Money

BrokrRank is free to use because brokers pay us a commission when a reader opens or funds an account through one of our links. This costs you nothing extra, and it does not change how we score brokers.

How does BrokrRank earn revenue?

We have affiliate agreements with the brokers we review. When you click a "Visit broker" button and then open or fund an account, the broker may pay us a one-off fee, a share of revenue, or both. The terms vary by broker.

Which brokers do we cover?

We currently publish reviews only of brokers we have an affiliate agreement with. That means BrokrRank is not a full list of every broker on the market. Within the brokers we cover, every one is scored with the same methodology, and low scores and real weaknesses are published.

Does commission affect ratings?

No. Ratings are calculated from five published factors: regulation, costs, platforms, asset selection and account opening. Commission rates are not one of them, and brokers cannot pay to raise a score or remove a criticism.

How are affiliate links marked?

  • Buttons that take you to a broker's site are affiliate links.
  • These links are tagged as sponsored in the page code, in line with search engine guidelines.
  • Links to our own reviews and guides are ordinary internal links and earn nothing.

What don't we accept?

  • Payment for a review, a rating or a specific position in our rankings.
  • Requests from brokers to remove or soften accurate criticism.
  • Content written by brokers and presented as our own.

CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. The percentage of retail accounts that lose money differs by broker; each broker's own figure is shown on its review. BrokrRank does not provide investment advice. Our services are not intended for residents of the United States or Canada.
